Qualifications

Seattle Chinatown-International District Preservation and Development Authority (SCIDPDA) fully supports and is committed to Equal Opportunity Housing. All units will be rented to applicants who meet the following criteria.

General Requirements

  1. Positive identification with a picture of each applicant.
  2. A complete and accurate application including current and most recent previous rental reference with phone numbers.
  3. Each applicant must sign a release for a credit report, previous rental references, criminal records and income verification.
  4. Each applicant must be able to enter a legal and binding contract.
  5. Proof of legal residency in the United States.

Income Requirements

  • Total gross monthly income should equal or exceed 3 times the monthly stated rent.

Grounds for Denial

  • Verified eviction or rental collection
  • Falsification of rental application
  • $1,000 or more derogatory credit history reporting to credit bureau
  • Open bankruptcy
  • Negative rental history
  • Criminal history
  • Household income exceeds income limit for apartment unit
  • Ineligible because of Section-8 or other housing regulations
